Digital Products on eBay – Hands Down the Best Idea

Posted by kristinewirth on July 12

First off, I cannot believe that I have only now just found out about this product.

If you’ve ever tried to cash in on the digital product craze at eBay and then got shot down when they decided to no longer let you sell digital products on their site, this is going to make your day!

Back in the day when eBay let you sell digital downloadable products online, it was heaven for lots and lots of sellers.  People were raking in the cash left and right selling PLR products, MRR products, pretty much anything that could be downloaded was sold via eBay.

Then eBay came in and spoiled the party for everyone and said that they would no longer allow these kinds of sales to take place and you were only allowed to sell these kinds of items via the eBay classifieds which cost $9.99 per month to be listed.

Great minds online soon realized that yes, you could still sell digital products online if you packaged them in a way that the product could be physically shipped.

For those familiar with burning their own CDs, placing attractive lables on them and shipping them out, this wasn’t such a big shift.

For many however, this stopped them in their tracks.  Not only were they unfamiliar with burning their own CDs and making them look all nice and attractive, it would be incredibly time-consuming to create dozens of them to have ready to be shipped out every time an eBay sale was made.

So another option that was available to these users was to use some kind of automatic system where they didn’t have to do the physical work themselves, but instead outsourced it to another company costing hundreds if not thousands of dollars.

This wasn’t such a viable idea.

Another solution was to purchase a script that did this for you using PHP programming.  But what regular person knows how to program in PHP? Even if you did choose one of these less expensive solutions, you’d still have to hire someone to get it working for you.

Then Disc Mojo came along that literally automates the entire process for you.  Including the design, the cellophane wrap on the outside of the case, and even ships it out to your customers automatically.

Now, Disc Mojo currently lets you easily sell CD/DVD products on autopilot via Amazon, CD Baby and other services, they are not yet however integrated with eBay.

So why would I then talk so much about eBay?  Well, because I’ve got a great little tip for you.

Once you have your Disc Mojo set up, have your CD or DVD created and all ready to go, simply have the program work it’s magic, send yourself a few copies and viola! you have an instant-ready-to-go library of all of your CDs or DVDs to distribute to your customers as-needed without working your fingers to the bone.

I think it’s pretty ingenious but that’s only my humble opinion. They explain the whole process far better than I could here, so just visit Disc Mojo here and see what they have to say.

Oh, and did I mention it’s only $27?
